Villa Amor Policies
Reservations must be paid in full 60 days before the guest's arrival.
Prices per night, in MXN PESOS, plus taxes (5% lodging tax & 16% IVA tax) & resort fees.
Methods of payment:
VISA, MasterCard, PayPal, and Wire Transfer.
Confirmation of a reservation:
A villa unit is reserved when our reservation department has processed the payment, and the guest has received an “Executed Confirmation”. Cancellation policy:
All payments are non-refundable.
- If a reservation is canceled 60 days or more before the arrival date, it’s entitled to receive a credit letter for 100% of the total paid, to be used within 1 year towards another reservation, starting from the original guest's arrival.
- If a reservation is canceled between 59-30 days prior to the arrival date, it’s entitled to received a credit letter for the 50% of the total paid, to be used within 1 year towards another reservation, starting from the original guest’s arrival.
- For reservations cancelled with less than 30 days prior to the guest's arrival, “No Shows” or "Early Check-Outs", no credit letter will apply.
Group & wedding group bookings: For questions on terms and conditions of group contracts please contact the resort directly. Promotions are non-refundable and must be paid in full at the time of reservation.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury, or personal emergencies. We do not offer credit for arriving late or departing early.
Resort Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-in time is at 3 p.m., and check-out time is at 11 a.m. During peak periods, check-in may be delayed one hour.
Reservations with Special Rate or Discount:
- Can't be combined with any other promotions,
- Full Payment Upfront, Non-Refundable.
- If you need to cancel, you will receive a credit letter valid for 12 months to reschedule.
Resort fees:
The Original Villa Amor has a Resort fee, and the amount depends on the villa's category: $2,000 pesos for 1BR, $3,400 pesos for 2BR & $ and $4,600 pesos for 3BR villa. The applicable taxes are included; the RF is per reservation and payable at the time of booking or upon check-in.
Our resort fee includes:
- In-villa internet access (Wifi)
- Boarding pass printing
- Access to the shared pool
- Yoga classes
- Beach towels
- Concierge services
- Usage of boogie and surfboards
- Porter service
In case exceeding the limit of guests authorised per room, the Hotel will reserve the right of admission to it.
Changes in dates:
If you need to change your dates and the new reservation dates result in fewer nights, no refunds apply.
Our published official cancellation policy does not offer cash refunds for last-minute cancellations.

Parking:
There is no private parking at the hotel. Cars and golf carts must park off-site; space is limited and subject to availability.
Pets:
We allow pets on a case-by-case basis, with prior consent, and we ask you to please let us know in advance. Pets are only allowed once approved by Villa Amor management. Pets are allowed only on a leash and cannot be left in the villa unsupervised.
Sayulita has become a popular resort destination. In certain months and days of the week, there are more festivities in Sayulita, which at times elevate the noise. Villa Amor does not have authority or control over this situation.
